Pastor MarkPastor Mark

What is the main reason that you are in the ministry?
There is no great position in the world that could close to the satisfaction of being in the service of God. To watch people commit their lives to Jesus Christ for the very first time is awesome! And to watch a person come back to their relationship with God, wow!

What is you number one goal in 2008?
To help people invest into the Kingdom of God through service and evangelism.

What is your favorite food?
A great homemade Steak and Cheese Hoagie.

Who is your favorite Christian artist?
John Eliot, Point of Grace, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Kim Hill and the list could go on and on.

What is something that you have always wanted to do, but have not as of now?
Go sky diving.

Who is or has been the most influential person in your life and why
That would be my mother-in-law, Donna Whitman. She has been a great encouragement to me in my Christian walk and has spent much time and many sleepless nights praying for me and my family. When we still get together I am challenged and encouraged. She is an awesome model of the love of Christ and a Godly woman. I would not be who I am today without her hand in my life.

Another person who has been influential in my life is my grandmother, Mariana. When I was growing up she lived in Mississippi and we lived in Wisconsin. About 5 years ago my grandparents moved to Wisconsin and I get to see my grandmother on a regular basis. She is such a prayer warrior and an encourager. I wish I would have been near her the whole time I was growing up. Now that we get to spend time together, I will not take it for granted.

If you could meet anyone and have an hour of their time, who would it be?
Judas, I would like to ask why, after being in the presence of Jesus for three years could you turn on Him the way he did?
